Il catalogo dei metadati del suolo ha lo scopo di aiutare gli utenti ad ottenere una panoramica delle informazioni sul suolo disponibili nelle Alpi e a cercare specifici dataset usando parole chiave e filtri di selezione.
Il catalogo dei metadati fornisce informazioni su titolo, proprietario, data, accessibilità, estensione geografica e dettagli tecnici di ciascun dataset, scaricabile come documento pdf. Pertanto, il catalogo funziona come un portale informativo, senza però la possibilità di scaricare dati grezzi.
